Kasumi was walking down the halls of the staff dorm and clutching her two suitcases and her pink pillow. Her squirrel, Spiffy, was tagging along behind with Kasumi's sleeping bag and pink backpack of sharp things. Why were they roaming the halls with Kasumi's belongings, you ask?
Well, Dartz and Kasumi had been arguing over some random law of physics and Kasumi had made Dartz really mad. He took off in a frenzy and had set her room aflame. Her favorite items were spared because she had kept them in a flame-proof trunk beneath her bed, but her room was totally destroyed. So now, she and Spiffy were roaming the halls and looking for anyone who might let them spend a few days.
Kasumi came to a door she was quite familiar with and knocked hesitantly upon it. "Please," Kasumi murmured to herself, "Let him be in a good mood. I just need a room, for Ra's sake and I'm nearly out of options. It's either here, or Marik...and then I have to start asking for a room with the students!" Kasumi shivered when she thought about how little the rooms for the students were, even the Obelisk blues! Her old room was at least five times as big and all of her favorite things were there. She sat on her suitcases and waited for the staff member to answer the door, knowing well who it would be.

When was the last time Bakura was in a good mood? Who knows. But today wasn't a good day either for the Thief King. He didn't need any contact with anything that could talk or move, just silence. Fingering a pair of bloody garden shears he found outside next to something that looked like it was a person by a lawnmower, he sighed. "Dammit, I can't name one thing that has happened to me since this school opened up...well, besides the usual. And random crap these students seem to come up with. But I need something more...off the wall...something like..." but Bakura trailed off once he heard the knocks on his door.
Growling, he got up from his bed and walked over to the door, still holding the garden shears. Now who in the hell is this? I wasn't expecting anyone...probably some idiot psychopath wanting to rant on me... he thought, opening the door to see none other than Kasumi. "Great. What do you want?" he asked, already sounding irritated.

Kasumi looked up at Bakura as he growled at her. She never really cared for him to be in this kind of mood. Most likely, he was tired of the same old thing and wanted to shake things up. Good for Kasumi, because she was prepared to spice up his life.
"Bakura-sama," Kasumi squeaked, "Dartz had burned down my room and no one else is around to let me stay with them for a week-" She stood up when she saw the bloody shears and backed away slightly. Taking a deep breath, she continued. " Please, Bakura. I need a place to stay and you should feel honored that I picked you to ask instead of Marik." Her nose scrunched up as she mentioned the Egyptian's name and it looked like she'd smelled something rotten. "He's been a real jackass lately and I don't normally use that kind of language."
Kasumi's one suitcase tumbled open and one of her blouses began to move. She smiled and reached beneath it, pulling out her brand new male fluffy white rabbit. She cuddled the rabbit as it stared at Bakura with red eyes. "Oh," Kasumi beamed. "This is my newest pet, Baku! Isn't he just cute?" Baku open his mouth and revealed a mouth full of razor sharp teeth and snake-like tongue. The rabbit's ears moved forward as it closed its mouth and wiggles it's stubby tail. "I named him after you, Bakura. So, can I move in for a week, or not?" Kasumi smiled while holding her rabbit and looked in Bakura's eyes, pleading that he'd make an exception for her.

Cold red eyes glared at Kasumi all the while she gave her reason. At the first mention of staying in his room, he was soo tempted to bloody the shears even more. He ran his tongue over his teeth, more so his sharp canines, trying to control his urges. She honestly thinks that I, Bakura the King of Thieves, would let the likes of her in my only sanction inside this school?! This woman is testing the very threads of my nerves... Bakura, being the person he was, let her finish before he said anything but he was interrupted by her bag falling over. There wasn't anything that could prepare the thief for what came out, which was... a bunny.
Bakura stared at the small white furry beast. Kasumi's words were drowned out by the simple thought of 'Get the rabbit'. His eye twitched, a smile curled on his face as he leaned against the wall. Hmph, and I wonder what motive the woman would have to get a bunny...They are one, if not the most sacred animals to a psychopath...and the only other beast I appreciate more than myself... ... ...And she named it after me...How touching.[/color] When she finished, he smiled more kindly. "Kasumi, honestly. I didn't hear a word you said nor did I care. But apparently you sparked my interest. When did you get a bunny?" Bakura asked, completely interested in the small animal.

Kasumi sat back on her one suitcase and began stroking Baku the Bunny while Spiffy the Squirrel ran off to find Sparkles da Squirrel to play with. Kasumi smiled when she heard Bakura speak about how she had interested him in her rabbit. She thought back to that one day when Marik had been out on a week-long frenzy and Bakura had locked her out of the staff dorms to get some alone time.
"It all happened about two weeks ago, Bakura. You and Marik weren't around to hang out with, so I decided to walk around in the shadow realm for a bit. I had been walking and discovered a small red door that had appeared shortly after my entry and decided to check out what was behind it.
"I opened the door and found that it lead to the very pit of Hell that most of my victims were sent after I murdered them. After walking through there with Spiffy on my shoulder to talk to, I noticed someone on the end of a long charred road. I walked up to him and discovered that it was none other than the big bad man himself.
"Satan began talking to me about how he was thrilled with all of the souls Marik, myself, and you had delivered to him recently and he was willing to give me one thing of my choice in return. I had smiled as a long list of things poured through my mind. Looking at Spiffy, I thought maybe I should get him a friend. I told Satan that I wanted a cute animal that was evil and white.
"He took out a cage full of all animals in his inventory and pulled out a small white rabbit with red eyes and a fluffy stubby tail. I remember how Baku looked at me and I knew at once that the smirk he was showing matched yours. Thus, I named him after you and brought him home. Only after I brought him home was I surprised with the razor sharp teeth and cat-like purring Baku would reveal at the oddest times..."
Kasumi's voice trailed off and then she remembered why she had come to Bakura's room in the first place. Standing back up and stroking the bunny's long white ears, she softened her eyes and looked up at Bakura. "Can you at least let me come in for a bit? I really need a place to stay for a week. It's not like I'm gonna try and claim your bed or anything..."
