Here you can find the main storyline that most (if not all) threads will run by. Please refer to this before making posts.

On an island off the coast of northern Japan, some of the highest reps in dueling history established Duel Academy, a boarding school dedicated to the finer points of dueling. In this esteemed academy, Yugi Mutou is considered a legend; King of Games if you will, and all students aspire to play as well as him. Unbeknownst to the students are all of the tasks and perils young Yugi had to go through, and most students are ignorant that the fact that some tournament winning (and worthy)duelists (i.e Bandit Keith, Ryou Bakura, Marik Ishtar, and many others) were some of the most power-hungry and evil beings alive. Why? Everyone wants to keep it quiet, and why shouldn't they? It would crush a lot of dreams and probably give the school a bad rep, even though there isn't any great evil stirring anymore, at least, at Duel Academy.
But in Domino, a Japanese city miles away from the academy's island, some of the old troubles are stirring again. Malik Ishtar, the heir to his family's line as the Pharaoh's Tombkeeper, was once plagued by his hatred and jealousy so badly that once in contct with the Millennium Rod, his evil ambitions were able to manifest him and take over, opting in a completely different persona. Luckly, Yugi and company were able to successufuly banish his demonic nature to the nether regions of the Shadow Realm and cure Malik of his anger. But lately, even though everyone explained that what he is doing is beneficial for normal life, his old feelings are beginning to resurface, making him more malice and returning to his evil ways.
He even went to the lengths of returning to the tomb, unsealing it and retrieving the Millennium Rod, of course unsettling the sacred seal placed upon it. This in turn beckoned Sha-Di's arrival and his trying to reason with the teen, but to no avail. Malik went insane with power and hate, challenging Sha-Di to a Shadow Game. Sha-Di fought, quickly grabbing the Millennium Key and fighting for his life. But his bravery and valor were for nothing, losing the match. But he wasn't going to give up, forfitting his life to stop Malik with a seal on his mind. Sha-Di missed, this not only made matters worse by unsealing the Pharaoh's instead, but by opening a portal to the Shadow Realm linked from Malik's mind. The fight finally ending, Malik ending as the victor. Evil as ever, noticing the Pharaoh coming out of the tomb, tried to seal him inside the puzzle, but Atem wouldn't allow it. He reversed the spell but not fully, ending up sealed in Sha-Di's lifeless body. His spirit molded the corpse into his liking, he was living flesh again. Thus became of the Pharaoh, but Malik didn't want him around, not again. Too bad the portal in his mind manifested itself to open, nearly placing the teen in a comatose state. The only thing to emerge from the portal was his anger, jealousy and hate, in true material being: Marik.
In a different place at the same time, seeing that Marik was successufuly able to escape the Shadow Realm, feeding off of Malik's anger, Bakura the King of Thieves (Dark Master Zorc's incarnation if you will), decided he shouldn't be the only one left out on the fun. Deep within the Shadow Realms, he was able to find a mind link with his old hikari, Ryou Bakura. Unlike Marik, using jealousy, anger and pure malice as a sparker, he used insecurity, weakness and fear of loneliness as his targets to bring forth the mind portal. He bombarded the albino's mind with constant anguish and torment, causing Ryou to become more and more insecure and anti-social, finally reaching the levels of psychological instability were he was prone to commit suicide at the smallest provocation. When young Ryou was about to take his life, unbeknownst to his family and friends, Bakura came to him as another way out; his "true" friend. The teen, so desprate for acceptance and love, openly welcomed the thief back into his mind fully, deep enough so the thief king could open another Shadow portal. Possessing Ryou, he caused severe physical pain to the body, letting Ryou's spirit feel every moment of pain to the point of unbearabillity, striking enough to fully establish his manifestation as a living being. Exiting the portal, breathing and walking once again, he kicked the teen's limp body and laughed long and high into the night, its echoes striking fear into the patrons of Domino.
The two evils living once again, they chose their comeback carefully, plotting on how to regain their status and take as many lives with them. But since the Pharaoh's return as well, their hopes were all for naught. As their many attempts were foiled time and time again by Atem and the others, Bakura and Marik thought of a different perspective: outnumber him. To outnumber someone, you would need a lot of willing patrons, but their reputation with people weren't so good. So what now? Start an illegal school out of the regions of normal laws and trick students into becoming their "psychos". Yes, the two could just as easily manipulate their minds and take them over by force, but eventually this would be brought to the Pharaoh's attention, then it's back to the drawing board. Where to start such a school? A remote island miles away from the coast of Japan of course. So the two journeyed their, and what do you know, as their luck would have it, it's a school already established. It took no time "convincing" the Chancellor there to let them activate an immediate and complete takeover, turning poor Duel Academy into Bakura and Marik's Psycho School. Eventually after the takeover, Yugi was to present an assembly but seeing the school in different colors and perspective, he alerted Atem right away. Therefore, Domino patrons (imcluding Yugi, Atem and company) to move to the island and attend the Psycho School, even bringing the former hikaris, Ryou and Malik, mainly to watch over them and keep them from dealing serius trouble. The two main psychos, Marik and Bakura, took in their hikaris as soon as they arrived, still feeling an attachment to them as Yugi and Atem does.
Apparently, psychos can have a soft spot for those certain few.
